Usage data: stories generated, flashcards saved, learning progress.
Support data: messages you send us.
Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, log data.
Payment metadata: subscription status and plan (payment card details are collected by Paddle, not by us).

2. Purposes and legal basis

Providing the service and your account — performance of a contract.
Security, fraud and abuse prevention — legitimate interests.
Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests.
Customer support — performance of a contract.
Legal and tax obligations — legal obligation.

3. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, subscriptions, tax and invoicing.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — for running the service, databases and email.
AI providers — to generate stories, translations and audio from your prompts.
Professional advisors (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

4. International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA/UK. Where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, personal data is removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

6. Your rights
